Polly Gannon, also known as the “baby whisperer” by families and pediatricians, is one of the most requested newborn care specialist and lactation educator in Los Angeles. With over 30 years of experience working in families’ homes, pediatric offices, hospitals and even the NICU, Polly has a wealth of experience, knowledge, advice, and support for parents of newborns, infants, and toddlers about all things related to feeding, sleeping, care and behavior.

She has years of experience teaching classes in labor and delivery, mommy and me, newborn care, and lactation. In addition, Polly helps parents through pregnancy, surrogacy, and adoption from infancy through the first 5 years of life.

Polly Gannon is certified by the Childbirth and Postpartum Professional Association (CAPPA) as a Trained Parent Educator and The Academy of Certified Birth Educators (ACBE) as a Lactation and Childbirth Educator. Polly is also certified in Infant Massage and Going Green for Newborns/ Infants (Safe Organic Brands).

She is a proud mom of five children—three daughters and two sons, as well as a grandmother of two grandsons. When Polly is not working, she enjoys spending time with her family, hosting game nights and attending sporting events, especially her son’s varsity football games. Polly feels blessed to work in a unique field where she can help parents navigate and conquer the unknown.

  • Introduction to solid foods, infant and toddler feeding. (When to introduce solids, what foods to start with, how to make your own baby food, difference between pureed food and baby-led weaning, toddler food lists, and choking hazards.)
  • Sleep scheduling for infants (including baby cues, personalized schedule/wake windows/sleep times, healthy routine, sleep regression). In home or virtually.
  • Nighttime Newborn Care Specialist (Also known as Night Nurse) in home or virtual options available.
  • In office or In-home private Labor & Delivery, Newborn Care Classes and Nursery Check
  • Monthly Texting Package (offered after initial consultation): 24/7 access on baby care advice/questions, FaceTime, weekly 30min call to discuss updates
